OUR MISSION
Truckee Community Cares is dedicated to serving our local community by embracing all faiths and beliefs. Our mission is to support anyone in Truckee who needs a helping hand during the holiday season. Thanks to the generosity of this amazing community, our work is possible.
Truckee Community Cares is an all-volunteer non-profit that serves as an umbrella organization that identifies community members who need assistance and raises funds to help. We collaborate with other community groups such as Soroptimist International of Truckee Donner, various local faith organizations and many other local businesses. Because of the generosity of the Truckee community and individuals like yourself, our organization is able to provide grocery store gift cards, a toy or gift for each child and warm jackets for each member of the family.
